Looking to host a small wedding in NYC? Fav venue booked? There is another option that allows you to wed on your preferred date *and* still have a beautiful, scenic backdrop. What could it be, you’re wondering? An Airbnb. When you want to tie the knot in style, this is the way to go. Browse through some of the best Airbnb wedding venues in NYC and the Hudson Valley.
HOW TO PICK AN AIRBNB
There are some rules and regulations regarding the guest count as well as the location of the Airbnb, but there are so many amazing and unique places to choose from.
Here are some important things to consider before you book your stay:
-How many guests are you expecting?
-Will there be a reception?
-If there is a reception, is it OK to set up tents, bring in outside vendors, possibly make temporary changes to the property, etc.
Aside from those important questions, this is a great opportunity to get married in your DREAM location without the hefty price-tag of an on-location hotel or wedding venue. You can get married on the beach in a chic oceanside home, or be a stone’s throw away from the mountains. Whatever you fancy, there’s a place for you.

BEST AIRBNB WEDDING VENUES IN NYC
This NYC Penthouse overlooks the Highline and offers breathtaking views of the city.
It is 1200 square feet with floor to ceiling glass walls. Equipped with a separate oversized commercial kitchen, it is an ideal location for photoshoots, elegant dinners and a multitude of special events both day and night.
This space can accommodate 50 people for a standing room reception and 30 for a sit down dinner.
This unique loft is located in the heart of the meatpacking district of NYC.
The 5th Floor Loft this features an abundance of natural light which shines through the space’s full length wrap around windows. A perfect space for an intimate event.
*I* would pay *the couple* to let me shoot in here. This is the coolest loft ever, located in the Flatiron District.
The venue also includes a fully furnished rooftop with a bar station, heat lamps, and great views. The rooftop is perfect for Weddings ceremonies. Large parties are not allowed at this time, but it’s great for more modest events.
Another super cool space in the meatpacking district. I can already see all of the beautiful dinner parties happening here.
This is 3,000 sq ft. of open loft space. You’re free to use our space as you’d like. Full kitchen and bar available. Covid-19 compliance officer available upon request
UNIQUE AIRBNB WEDDING VENUES IN NYC
Okay, these are weird photos. But this is a really, really interesting space. Plus, I’d love to shoot here *just* to get this listing better photos.
Hosted by Hotel Indigo, this 3000 sq ft studio space features floor to ceiling windows, and south and east facing views of lower Manhattan.
This beautiful luxury apartment is better for smaller dinner parties and rehearsal dinners vs. big wedding receptions. But honestly, this is one of the coolest spaces I’ve ever seen. I would LOVE to shoot some amazing wedding day portraits in here.
As per the listing, no big parties or weddings are allowed yet, but smaller gatherings are a-okay.
Holy natural light batman. This space is SCREAMING for portraits to be taken here.
This penthouse daylight studio in the heart of Chelsea offers North West facing views over Hudson Yards, the Hudson River and The High Line in Chelsea. Perfect for special events.

OMG. Oh my god. Wow. This is another space I would absolutely photograph at in a heartbeat. I would love to shoot here. Please, someone, anyone, book this space.
This location is called “The Sanctuary,” and it is a unique, candle-lit space for magical evenings and events. 16 guest limit, as per ush.
This beautiful cozy townhouse in Brooklyn is the perfect place for a mini wedding. In addition to the natural-lit interior, there is a magical garden and patio with string lights and a fire pit.
There’s also a 1,000 sq. ft rooftop with a bbq grill. Who doesn’t want fresh BBQ at a wedding??
If you want my opinion, this place is a STEALLLLL. It is so beautiful and elegant for just $1200.
So many celebrities have rented the space for photoshoots — there’s nothing stopping you from doing it, too.
