Wedding videography is the perfect way to tell the story of your wedding day from start to finish. It beautifully captures all the emotion, excitement, and movement; a great compliment to your wedding photos.
Most couples wish they invested in wedding videography alongside their photography services. The day goes by so quickly, and your wedding film will allow you to relive it fully.
You can request a photo and video package OR add video to your photo package any time after booking with us. We promise you won't regret having this service on your wedding day.
We're happy to bundle photo & video together, or give you an individual quote for videography services.
Wedding videography coverage starts at $7000.
Wedding videography is, in our opinion, equally as essential as photography. Photography freezes the moment, and videography immortalizes it. Every gesture, glance, and emotion is perfectly captured and allows you to relive the day all over again. As the couple, having such a busy, full day, it is easy to miss moments -- your videographer won't. It is our job to ensure everything is filmed. For example, you won't see your wedding party walk down the aisle while you're waiting in the wings -- your videographer will. You may not see your grandparents tear up during your vows, but we will. Videography also allows us to capture the amazing transformation all wedding venues go through for a wedding, in motion. And you will be able to view and share your videos to your heart's desire.
Wedding videography involves more than just showing up on the day of with a camera -- there's lots of add ons you are welcome to inquire about! In addition to a full day of videography coverage, we are personally able to offer the following:
1. Additional videographers
2. Drone video footage
3. One minute edited teaser video
4. Highlight video reel, 5-8 minutes
5. Cinematic edited video, 20-30 minutes
6. RAW video footage available for HD download
Similar to our photography style, we like to focus on capturing real moments as they unfold between the couple, or anyone in front of our camera. We will direct if needed, like if there is some amazing lighting or architecture we want to utilize. A lot of the time, we like to have a general storyboard put together before your wedding day, this way we know the specific shots we need to get to make the final edited video as seamless as possible.
We always recommend two videographers, though it is not mandatory of course. Even when you book one videographer, we always have one or two backup cameras set up for important moments during the ceremony and reception speeches. Adding an second videographer will be a surefire way to have backup footage from a different angle, and will ensure your primary videographer is not spread thin from manning multiple cameras. As is with photography, the second videographer will be able to focus more on the candid moments, while the primary videographer captures the must-have directed moments. Sometimes the B-roll footage is the best of the day.
Before your wedding day, we will be in contact with you to help you with any day-of logistics, like your timeline and any artistic requests. That is also when we will discuss any preferences you may have for your final wedding video. A lot of the time, the couple already has a special/sentimental song they want included in the edited film. If you don't have a preference and would like us to choose instead, we have tons of favorite songs to include in your highlight or long film. I also made a playlist of all wedding reception inspired music, and most are fun to include in the edited videos, too! Check it out here.
I like to have a one minute teaser edited and sent no later than a week after your wedding day. From there, the editing timeline for any longer videos varies. For highlight reels -- usually 5-8 minutes long -- those are done usually 4-6 weeks after your wedding day. If you have a 20-30 minute cinematic edited video, those take a bit longer and are usually done 6-8 weeks after your wedding.
