AN INTIMATE WEDDING AT THE ROUNDHOUSE
I’ve been excited about Danielle and Daniel’s wedding day since the first time we spoke back in August. (Btw, August is a month that simultaneously feels like both only yesterday AND a million years ago.) I knew their wedding day would be just a group of their closest friends and family, I’d only be photographing for a few hours, and it would be at this beautiful venue that I was dying to photograph,
The Roundhouse.
Whenever I meet the couple for the first time on their actual
wedding day, it kind of feels like a super exciting blind date. Danielle & Daniel made me feel so welcome, as all our couples do, and I’m so glad I was able to capture this intimate day. Mini weddings forever!
It was a beautiful day, and I can’t wait until I’m able to shoot at The Roundhouse again. Seriously, the space is so cool.
ABOUT DANIELLE & DANIEL
“We’ve been together since I was just 18 and Dan was 20! Our relationship has been fairly easy (obviously everyone has their ups & downs, but nothing crazy) due to the fact that we’re just best friends who love to talk. We’ve grown a lot and every year we learn new things about ourselves and our relationship.
“We met at Marist college and now have been together a little over 8 years. Marist is actually how we ended up wanting to have a reception in Beacon! The ceremony was originally at the chapel at Marist, but we basically had to replan our wedding 3-4 different times. Eventually, we found St. Joachim about 2-3 months before our wedding day, which was literally god sent!
“Honestly, with all the craziness and difficult times this year we knew that we were going to go through with our wedding either way to cheer ourselves and our family up a bit. It turned out much better than expected! We couldn’t have asked for a better day, and to have just close family & friends watch us get married was so special.”
Thank you to Danielle & Daniel for allowing me to document your wedding day. Y’all cute.
