Located on the Hudson River and looking out at the New York City skyline, Battello Jersey City is a stunning and unique New Jersey Wedding venue. This beautiful venue, renowned for its soaring ceilings, incredible view, and delicious food, has an ambiance that is hard to beat. It has quickly become one of my personal favorite locations to photograph a wedding or event. Plus, I’ve personally been there to eat a few times and its amazing every single time. Battello: A New Jersey Wedding Venue

Nestled in the heart of Jersey City’s vibrant waterfront district, Battello is a restaurant that has been making waves in the culinary scene. With its stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and exquisite cuisine, it has become a must-visit dining destination for both locals and tourists alike.

One of the most striking features of Battello is its location. Situated on the Newport Marina Pier, it offers breathtaking views of the New York skyline and Hudson River. The restaurant’s sprawling space is beautifully designed with floor-to-ceiling windows that allow diners to enjoy the mesmerizing view while indulging in their meals. The interior design is a blend of industrial chic and nautical elegance, reflecting its waterfront setting perfectly.

Dining at Battello Jersey City

Battello prides itself on serving contemporary Italian cuisine with a creative twist. The menu, curated by acclaimed Executive Chef Ryan DePersio, showcases fresh seafood dishes inspired by Italy’s coastal regions. From succulent scallops to fresh oysters and lobster bisque, seafood lovers are sure to be delighted.

However, it’s not just about seafood at Battello. The menu also features an array of mouthwatering meat dishes like braised short ribs and duck confit. Vegetarians aren’t left out either; there are plenty of plant-based options available too.

Every dish at Battello is prepared with locally sourced ingredients to ensure the highest quality and freshness. The presentation is equally impressive, with each plate meticulously arranged to create a visual feast.

No dining experience is complete without the perfect drink to accompany your meal, and Battello doesn’t disappoint in this regard. The restaurant boasts an extensive wine list featuring selections from around the world, with a particular emphasis on Italian wines. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just enjoy a good glass of vino, you’ll find something to suit your palate.

In addition to wine, Battello also offers an impressive cocktail menu. From classic cocktails like Old Fashioned and Negroni to innovative concoctions created by their skilled mixologists, there’s something for everyone.

About Chloe and Sean’s Wedding Day

Chloe and Sean’s wedding day began at both of their parents’ homes, each side with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Chloe and her girls had multiple dance parties, and Sean and his guys chatted around the dining room table. Getting ready concluded with reading a letter from their soon-to-be-spouse; happy tears were shed.

The rain and fog only added to the romance of the day, as everyone gathered indoors at the Greek Orthodox church for the ceremony. Sean excitedly awaited the arrival of his beautiful bride.

Once at the venue, we had to get creative with the portraits, since going outdoors was not an option. Luckily since Battello is so beautiful, it wasn’t hard to find some great locations inside. Plus, the reception space was almost completely set up.

The spread at cocktail hour was amazing, with plenty of pastas, charcuterie, seafood, and more.

Reception entertainment, Sound Society, was incredible and performed nonstop hits all night long. Chloe and Sean’s first dance was something out of a movie, and their respective parent dances got everyone choked up. Chloe also performed a traditional Greek dance with her twin sisters, which was so much fun to be a part of.

The evening concluded with an evening stroll outside by the water for some final portraits, and of course, the cake. What a perfect day.
