Planning an outdoor wedding has its own set of challenges, there’s no doubt about that. But one big, beautiful advantage is having a park at your disposal. Which park, you ask? How about Maxwell Place Park by the Hoboken Waterfront? The NYC skyline is always in view, there is plenty of space to roam and relax, and not to mention — it’s a pretty killer last minute outdoor wedding venue.
If you’re one of the many, many couples who have had to adapt to never-ending varying covid wedding rules and safety protocols: you’re not alone. I can’t even imagine how stressful it is to have to constantly worry about wedding plans. You may just want to throw away your planner, throw your hands up and say “SCREW IT”. On the other hand, your next thought may be: park wedding?
When your only options consist of city hall, your backyard, or the beautiful Hoboken Waterfront, the choice seems obvious.
I’m not *entirely* sure about if there are any permits involved in this process, so take my words with a grain of salt.
This particular wedding had a very simple setup, thanks to the bride’s sister and friends.
The decor consisted of: 2 small tables with white tablecloths, a cake, some paper cranes, and small favors. That’s all you really need to pull off an outdoor wedding.
